I had the pleasure of visiting STC Austin on November 7, 2012 and presenting Five Dysfunctions of a Team at their monthly chapter program meeting. We met at the Microsoft Store and used their presentation space at the back of the store. I thought this was an incredible idea as a way to raise the awareness of the STC chapter. We used the large touchscreen and I quickly learned how to use Windows 8!

To start the evening, I began with a lightning talk (20 slides in 5 minutes) about New Technologies Bring New Opportunities. The lightning talk format has each slide automatically advance every 15 seconds, which keeps the presentation moving and can be a fun challenge to watch as the presenter moves and adjusts on the fly. I hope you will join us at the STC Summit in Atlanta on May 5-8, 2013 where we will have more than 80 sessions, including two sessions of up to 9 lightning talks each.
